Houndhaus Tattoo Co. extends a warm welcome to artists from all corners of Australia and beyond to join our studio.

Please be aware that you will need to obtain an overseas body art tattooist permit. This permit is a prerequisite for individuals residing outside of Australia who intend to perform tattooing procedures in exchange for compensation within Queensland.
Each applicant can request a permit for a maximum duration of 31 days, with a limit of two permits per person per year.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years of age or older.
Provide proof of the location where you intend to perform body art procedures.
Hold a valid certificate in Maintain Infection Prevention for Skin Penetration Treatments (HLTINF005).
Pay the required fees when you lodge your application.
You must submit your application at least 28 days prior to the proposed start date of the permit. When submitting your application, ensure that you include certified copies of your passport and visa.
